Save the Date
The Big Apple BBQ is in town from June 13 to the 14th at Madison Sq Park. It runs all day from 11am to 7pm. Admission is free. Each plate of BBQ from the various pitmasters is $8.00.
The pitmasters include the following smokers:
Michael Rodriguez from The Salt Lick outside Austin, TX (been there. INSANE!!!!)
Pete Daversa from our own Hill Country.
Patrick Martin from Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint in Nashville, TN. His specialty is Western-Tennesse style whole hog with sweet pickles. I’m salivating.
Plus a host of others.
I have a feeling this event will be massively crowded but I will try to attend on Saturday. Shoot me an email if you plan on going too.
