Voilà! Clafouti!!!

You know how when you’re working on a jigsaw puzzle and every piece you pick up, you automatically find a matching connected piece for?  And as the jigsaw picture unfolds, you solve the puzzle and are pretty damn happy with yourself?  Well, say no more then.  This clafouti doesn’t need any words besides it being the single BEST DESSERT I’ve ever prepared.  Sure, I am suffering first degree burns on the roof of my mouth as my impatience got the best of me when I pulled them from out the toaster oven.  Let them cool?  Haha.  NO!  Let them be eaten is more like it.

Another huge MERCI goes out to my new favorite NYC chef Eric Ripert!  If it wasn’t for his recipe, this meal would never have been.  Merci!
