I have a new top 5 restaurant but I’m not yet ready to share it with the masses.
It’s Piedmont-ese inspired food (one of only a few true Piedmont restaurants in the city) and it DOES NOT disappoint. OMG!!! The above pic of the sunny side egg over grainy brown bread smeared with a gorgeous duck pate is the stuff of dreams and legends. My shitty iPhone pic does this plate as much justice as sand to a parched Bedouin.
I’m not yet ready to share this jewel as it’s gotten minimal, lacking press. Let me enjoy a few weeks of uncrowded feasting before I reveal this treasure.
