Lunch at Scuderia

Just had a fantastic little (maybe not sooooo little) lunch at Scuderia - the offspring baresto of Da Silvano’s.

We sat in the sun.  Enjoyed a glass of rose.  Enjoyed the people watching and dined on some fine and simple and light Italian fare.

Burrata with prosciutto and truffle shavings.  What do you think?  Looks like it didn’t taste good right?  It MELTED away.   This dish simply vanished and melted away.  MMMMMMMMMMM.

Chicken livers with string beans and fried garlic.  This was all me.  Liver!  Can’t live without it.

Taglioni with cockles amidst a sea of garlic.  Yeah, my breath smells great now.  I can kill a vampire from a mile away.  But it’s damn worth it!

Lightly fried zuchini flowers with a splendid aioli type tartar dressing.  LOVED IT!!

Overall I am very happy with my meal here.  My one complaint (and it is a valid complaint) was that it took 10 minutes for my first drink to arrive.  After waiting another 10 minutes for my second drink, I got up and ordered it from the bar myself.  Spotty service for sure!
